Our Story

Arhaa Food specializes in bespoke handcrafted frozen and ambient foods available in a wide array of flavours and sizes. We are trusted suppliers for customers in Middle East, Asia Pacific, Europe and North America. We undertake bespoke orders with customization for our customers.

Spread over 25,000 square feet, our manufacturing plant is designed to conform to international standards of GMP. We take great pride in our manufacturing standards and stringent Standard Operating Procedures with Quality Assurance (QA) and Quality Checks (QC) to deliver customers the quality they are now accustomed to and expect. The plant has a newly installed HVAC system and is compliant to BRC, FSSAI, SEDEX, APEDA, RSPO, HACCP, ISO 2200 and GMP manufacturing standards.

Founder's Journey

1990-2005

Premier Foods

Jagdish began her passionate journey in 1990 with Premier Foods Sharwood’s division, a company specializing in Asian and Oriental foods, as an Innovative Product Designer overseeing Product Development, Marketing and Training. Over 100 major products including the well-received and acclaimed Indian breads/ naans were created and managed from inception to launch in the U.K. mainstream market. It was Jagdish’s relentless pursuit and passion which led her to received recognition and appreciation from the Late Queen of Britan and win the prestigious Innovation Award by Rank Hovis McDougall for developing the range of ‘Thengai Sauces”.

2005

J K Food Design Consultancy

Jagdish’s J K Food Design Consultancy, enhances companies by helping with business tie ups that expands their global business. It offers various services such as product design, portfolio management, marketing strategies, factory layout planning, market research, product sourcing, imports and HACCP, BRC & ISO 2200 audits and training for medium & small scale manufacturers.

With innovation to the core, having 25 years + experience in processed food industry, Jagdish specializes in Asian as well as Indian cuisine and has resourcefully created opportunities for famous brand launches in the mainstream markets with targeted results.

2008 – 2012

Signature International Foods

It was in early 2008 that Jagdish was motivated to bring-to-life her long conceived idea of manufacturing Indian naans and breads. Signature International Foods (formerly Honeytop, U.K.) recognised her true vast experience and deep technical know-how and collaborated to form Signature International Foods in Nasik, India. Jagdish took on the immersive founder role and was involved in every decision from the grass-root levels. She tirelessly spent many hours of the day and nights to get the plant up to scale and running. Her relentless drive paid off when she began operations and brought in international sales for Signature International Foods.

Since 2012

Arhaa Foods

Ultimately, her undying dedication to do better and produce bespoke handcrafted foods took shape in the form of Arhaa Food in 2010 to manufacture of a range of frozen and ambient foods. The state-of-the-art manufacturing in Nashik, India is strategically located to get direct farm fresh produce to the plant for processing. Jadgish’s undying passion and dedication to excel and constantly upgrade quality has her team focused and motivated to achieve Arhaa’s overall objectives.
